Refund Policy

Instant digital download

The Death and Hope of an AI Nation is a digital book (EPUB + PDF) delivered to you instantly after purchase. Because the file is delivered immediately, all sales are final — with the one exception below.

If something's wrong, we'll make it right

If your download doesn't arrive, or the file is defective, corrupted, or won't open, email us at ainationmail@proton.me within 30 days of purchase and we'll fix it or issue a refund. We want you to actually receive what you paid for.

Before requesting a refund, please try re-downloading from your emailed receipt or the self-service order portal (app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders) — that resolves most issues instantly.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, back to your original payment method. They can take up to 10 days to appear on your statement.

Your statutory rights

Where the law gives you additional rights (for example, consumer protections in the EU/UK), those still apply. For instant digital downloads you may be asked at checkout to consent to immediate delivery and thereby waive the standard withdrawal period; our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy) handles this at the point of sale.
